Guess we all best be students of life huh ?
I read where once he got to the top the rock rolled to the bottom again.
There was also a comment elsewhere that if you put your face too close
to a stone, you too will become one.
So it's interesting that the students are equated to the rock by this
teacher.
Heck with rolling the rock, 1st time it came back down, I'd sit on top
of it. Might be a good idea before the 1st time even ... can you tell
I'm not a fan of manual labor ? lol
But if we try to push our rock we tangle with it & it can overpower us.
If we sit up on it we can see the rest of the world & put our rock in
perspective.
Or you could say I'm gonna control my rock because I'm suppose to push
it up the hill, but I ain't gonna !
Books were always my friends, more than people.
And we with PTSD need community & extending beyond ourselves because the
very nature of PTSD draws us in & overwhelms us within ourselves and we
have to find a way out to survive.
Then again, writing at this time of the morning after little sleep may
make little sense, sand thru the hourglass...

endeavor to persevere Sisyphus

I thought this website was interesting.

Just click the link at the bottom to see the page.

Although it doesn't elaborate on Sisyphus' delima

or clairify who first said 'endeavor to persevere',

it does discuss keeping learning interesting.
