Rosa had a conference in Vicksburg. Roslyn and I went along for a 'mini' vacation. The battlefield is awesome. Literally. I'd warn Vets that they'll definately hear the chaos of canon fire, the snap and whine of bullets, and men screaming, cussing, grunting, and moaning.
IMO, if Vicksburg and Jackson would've marched down to meet Grant before Sherman linked with him, we'd know how an agrarian society compares to an industrial one.
