Thank you to all of you that contacted me. I appreciate the words of support, and I’ll try to respond to the e-mails. I like all the name suggestions for helping out the Iraqi soldiers. Keep them coming. Keep the link requests coming too, I’ll be adding them soon. Also, to give credit where it’s due, the picture in USA Today was taken by Jon Jivan. If you check out his site you’ll see pictures that are much better than the one of me.

To give some of my new readers some background. I started this blog back when I was still in the States. I actually heard about these military blogs last spring from Hugh Hewitt. When I first found out I was being mobilized I did an internet search to find some information, so I would know what to expect. I came across Chris Missick's site. He really had a lot of great information that helped me out quite a bit. He’s home now, making me think about that also.
